Trained formally to study and teach music as a cultural and historical phenomenon—Bama also helps translate complex business and cultural environments into integrated and productive networks and actions.
Her diverse expertise spans management consulting (MGT), business and program analysis, writing, tourism, arts management, higher education, and field-building. Broad experience of the emerging arts and health field of neuroarts, where science, the arts, and technology converge, completes the ACR problem-solving toolkit.
What is Musicology?
Much like art history, musicology explores music and musical practices from a variety of perspectives. It often intersects with disciplines such as psychology, cultural studies, historiography, sociology, physics/acoustics, religion, mathematics, neurology, economics, natural sciences, pedagogy, and philosophy.
